clothes diary

I feel like I have a lot of clothes, so I listed them all out and it turns out I have 39 or 47 if you include coats and scarves.

what?

I have decided to keep a track of what I wear for the next month to see if I need all of my clothes and really to see what I actually wear.  I have seen/heard a variety of versions of this but for me, keeping track using a list I’ve made seems the easiest.

getting annoyed with myself

I’m starting to get really annoyed with myself recently.  I have gone into a bit of a ‘decluttering kick’.  This is a habit I have every so often which in there lies the problem.

I go through phases:

  1. I don’t need to get any more things, I have enough

I used to live really close to this place but I wasn’t aware of that fact at the time. Instead, I waited until I was living on the other side of Tokyo to visit; It only took over an hour to get there. It was a really beautiful place though and I would recommend going if you’re living in the city and want some peace ...

five frugal things – 020617

number 1

I cleaned and sorted the kitchen cupboards and this brought to light that I have a fair bit of tea stashed away. Now, contrary to popular belief, not all British people go through gallons of tea a day.  I will drink it and do like it but it’s definitely something I can live without, especially in this warmer weather but then, genius struck.  I can brew the tea, leave it to cool and make ‘ice’ tea.  I love drinking it this way, particularly when it’s my favourite tipple of Lady Grey or peppermint.  (I don’t normally put the ...
