Happy New Year: 2024 take 2

Day two in Turin saw us going to The National Museum of Cinema which I didn’t really think would be anything much BUT it was! It was really good but again, you must must must book tickets in advance. The queue was crazy! I think it was due to the special exhibition being Tim Burton.

The museum is in the Mole Antonelliana – a fantastic building inside and out. You can go in the lift which you can see in the middle for a view of the city. The third picture is there because it reminded me of the lyric ...

Weezer: Zepp DiverCity Tokyo, Odaiba 2nd August 2023 JAPAN

Weezer have been in Japan! They played three shows: Fuji Rock, Osaka and Tokyo. I went to the Tokyo show but also saw Rivers in Hiroshima. I wish I had gone to the Osaka show too, but I didn’t want to do Tokyo to Hiroshima to Tokyo to Osaka to Tokyo.

There were lots of turtles and koi in the pond and I felt sorry for them with the heat. Animals have done nothing to ...

weezer

Last week, Weezer announced they are doing a Broadway residency for five nights, playing their new seasonal albums in September and I can’t tell you how much I want/ed to go. We costed it up and it was looking to be around £7,500 at least with flights, hotels, tickets and that’s not including any spending money. If we’d have had more notice, flights and hotels would have been cheaper but alas, it wasn’t to be. I hope they come back to Japan soon.

Speaking of Japan, the heat! It has gone to full on summer and ...
