Onomichi・尾道

We got a boat to Onomichi and then got another boat to Mukaishima to have pizza and then got another boat back.

I thought it would be a good idea to book a hotel at the top of the hill, which you can see below. The views were good, the walk up and down wasn’t that great, especially in the heat and humidity.

Breakfast at the hotel. They had gone to a lot of trouble to make me a completely vegan breakfast. No dashi even! Unfortunately, the miso also had an astronomical amount of wakame, so it got passed along to my husband whilst the staff looked on.

I liked Onomichi and had been wanting to go for a while. If you like a holiday that combines exercise, its probably the perfect location.
