I love Weezer, but I am appalled that they were ok with that. How was that allowed to happen? People paid money to see them and they got that. That’s how you decide to debut your new song? Shockingly poor judgement. The person in question doesn’t seem to realise how terrible they were, which seems incredibly arrogant to me but then if you have the sycophants telling you that you were great, maybe you just decide to believe those voices? If Weezer associate with people like that, it makes me question my love for them. I am quite disgusted by the level of cronyism. I hope she isn’t on their tour with them. It’s everything I am against – talentless but knows the band so gets to sing with them? Wow! I really thought Weezer were better than that but I guess that’s my fault.

What do the band hear? Could they not hear that? Did they allow that to continue? Did they not rehearse together beforehand? Was she just given the job because she’s their ‘friend’, no need to audition? She should have done one song and been pulled off. It’s almost cruel to her but then not really because she posted it to her socials which must mean she thought she sounded good?! I am actually devastated after liking the band for 24 years, I feel like something broke.
