If you’re a Yank and you think you’ve got the best country in the world, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you’ve never been abroad or you’ve only been to developing countries. If that’s not the case, you’re delusional. If you’re a Yank and you’re successful and you think that’s all down to your hard work, you don’t think the majority of people try to work hard? Your success is mainly down to luck and how arrogant if you don’t recognise that (but that is a national trait it seems). Your welfare state must really be nonexistent to have streets and streets of poverty-stricken people in each city. Don’t you care? I think it’s fucking awful and I’d be really fucking embarrassed to say I was American. If people need to be dosed up to the eyeballs on drugs or antidepressants or anxiety medicine etc to survive American society, then that should tell you something. I promise you it’s not like this in other equivalent countries.
