Bits of life.
Azabudai Hills – I don’t really care for places like this and the coffee was rubbish and I certainly wouldn’t have been paying ¥500 cover charge to go up there BUT I do love Tokyo Tower! Those two drinks were nearly ¥2,000 which is outrageous and in disposable cups.

Ryuichi Sakamoto at Azabudai Hills…it wasn’t anywhere near as good as the one at MOT.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is my favourite museum in Tokyo and probably one of my favourite places to go. The cafe is good too.

The National Art Center, Tokyo also have really good exhibitions and it’s a lovely building accessible from Roppongi Station without having to go outside.

Sakura season and this year I was with my mum and got to celebrate her birthday with her in person on the actual day!

The Blind Donkey – this is definitely my favourite restaurant in Tokyo. They can do a vegetarian menu, the ingredients are seasonal and really good quality, the atmosphere is laidback and aesthetically it’s exactly my vibe. Really, it’s far too cheap.

I’m a right glutton and like to eat.
1. Ume no Hana – tofu place that can cater for vegans. It’s nice but it’s a lot of food, I really struggled but that’s kaiseki.
2. Komaki Shokudo – I really like the food here and it’s vegan.
3 + 4. Sembikiya
5. Hoshino

Still keeping up with sewing, just not very good at taking photos of stuff I make. This is The All State shirt from Merchant & Mills, shortened and made in some of their cotton/linen with their buttons. French seamed and dare I say, looking very neat and tidy inside as well as out. The Japanese book skew-whiff and off to the side is a fair representation of my studies of late.

You’ve read the book, now see the opera! Werther – it was so good! I’m so soft and I always cry at stuff like that. Amazing! The New National Theatre is beautiful as well.
