I don’t really have any pictures from march, so your guess is as good as mine when it comes to what I actually did.

The above photo was taken around the Kiba/Kiyosumi-shirkawa area. Lots of nice coffee places and cafes around that area too, if you’re into that kind of thing. We tried Allpress Espresso and looking at their website, they have a shop in the UK as well (amongst other places). It was nice and the staff were very friendly.

I have four main outfits that I have been wearing this winter. I tend to wear a grey jumper (unpictured) with the skirt. As I was thinking about my tendency to not vary in my dress, I couldn’t help but ponder on why I’ve bought so much fabric to make new clothes.  I’ll tell you something though, you can be assured it’s following a similar colour palette! ...

fruit parlor fukunaga

For my husband’s birthday/our wedding anniversary we went to Fruit Parlour Fukunaga – you can follow them on Twitter here.  It was delightful!  As you can see, we went greedy!

First up we have a cherry parfait and (large, I think) plate of fresh fruit.

Then the fruit sandwiches which I liked very much. I hadn’t ever had a fruit sandwich before coming to Japan, but now I have delighted upon them, I have become quite fond. You can find them at the supermarkets and conbinis too if you don’t have time to go to a fruit parlour. The ...
