Hagi days

We went to Hagi back in October for a Buddhist ceremony for my husband’s grandma. We were there for three days and unfortunately we got hit by a typhoon. Here are some photos from before said typhoon got us. We went to the beach and it was still really warm so we had kakigori. The green was melon and the white-orange was natsumikan which Hagi is famous for – it’s everywhere.

We then went to La Ceiba for dinner which I throughly recommend. It’s the second time I’ve been. The first time I was eating meat but this time I ...

Tokyo Vegan Gourmet Festival

On Sunday it was the Tokyo Vegan Gourmet Festival in Kiba Park! It was lovely weather but I foolishly got burnt. I thought it was supposed to be autumn now?

We had ...

I started off the month by going to see the cherry blossoms (you can see more pictures here if you would like).  This below two photos are at Yasukuni Shrine.

Then these were taken at The Imperial Palace, at the moat.  The queue for the boats was ridiculous.

The new Scott & Rivers album came out in April (go buy it if ...
